Appalachian Highlands Nurses Honor Guard provides respectful funeral services and memorials for deceased nurses. With a tradition of attending services in traditional white uniforms, we carry out ceremonies that include standing guard, reciting the “Nurses Prayer,” presenting a Florence Nightingale lamp, and placing a white rose on the casket.
